P3 Automotive announces new Mobility Innovation Center in Southfield & 100 new hires by end of 2016

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) – A global company is investing in R&D right here in metro Detroit. P3 Automotive just unveiled its Mobility Innovation Center in Southfield.

The modern 25,000-square-foot facility is located at 25650 West 11 Mile Road, Suite 300 in Southfield.
“We decided to open the new P3 Mobility Innovation Center right here in the heart of the U.S. automotive industry in southeast Michigan,” said P3 Automotive President and CEO Dr. Samit Ghosh in a company news release. “As automotive and technology industries converge, Silicon Valley meets Detroit here at the MIC, and the knowledge and advanced solutions we provide help our clients stay competitive right here, right now.”

The goal is to hire dozens of people to help advance the next-generation technologies for connected and autonomous vehicles.

P3 automotive is looking for top notch talent to lead this charge.

P3 plans to hire 100 employees by the end of the year.

Approximately 60-percent of those new hires will be located in the metro Detroit area and southeastern Michigan.

The openings are for systems and test engineers, cyber security experts, and automotive telematics management consultants.

The rest of the jobs will be located throughout North America.
