MIAMI—Hillary Rodham Clinton will offer a keynote address at the 2014 CREW Network Convention & Marketplace at Loews Hotel in Miami Beach this fall. Set for Sept. 30 to Oct. 3, it’s the first time the convention has landed in South Beach in over 20 years.
The CREW convention will gather over 1,000 commercial real estate industry influencers and leaders who may not have seen first-hand Miami’s recovery. Beyond Clinton, featured speakers include: Steve Forbes, chairman of Forbes Media; Katty Kay, BBC World News America lead anchor and co-author of “The Confidence Code;” and Crystal Washington, social media consultant and author of “The Social Media Why.” Experts will discuss topics like new urbanism development trends, collaborative workplaces’ balance of focus and team work, retail digital marketing tools, and multifamily trends.
“CREW Network Convention & Marketplace is a unique opportunity to meet and connect with business and industry leaders from across North America, while learning about tactics and strategies that they are finding to be successful in their own markets,” says 2014 CREW-Miami president Karyl Argamasilla. “As the host city, we get to showcase our local market, demonstrate why Miami is at the forefront of international inbound investment and is also the gateway city of the Americas.”
Advance registration is $835 until Aug. 22. The cost climbs to $910 after Aug. 22 for CREW Network members. The cost for non-members is $1,670 for early registration by Aug. 22 and $1,745 after that date.
