Farmington Hills, MI – (August 17, 2021) Friedman Real Estate, one of the nation’s leading providers of commercial real estate services, recently leased the ±1,100 square foot retail space in the Alamo Plaza on Dacoma Street in Houston, Texas. Recently featured in CultureMap Houston, Tatemó is one of Houston’s most acclaimed restaurant startups. Founded by Emmanuel Chavez and Megan Maul, Tatemó sells artisan tortillas made from heirloom corn imported from Mexico and uses a traditional nixtamalization process to create tortillas that are as flavorful as the fillings he pairs them with. Look for them to be operating in late October 2021. Friedman’s Larson Riff and Nick Jasien advised the landlord in the transaction.
