A FedEx Corp. facility is being proposed for the Liberty Park site in Sterling Heights.
An application for a planned unit development submitted to the planning commission lists FedEx as the proposed user for Liberty Park, which opened in 1984 and has facilities including softball fields, sand volleyball courts, outdoor basketball courts, a dome for indoor sports and a bar and grill.
